Vacuum Mixers & Dryers — Powder & Paste

Eleven vacuum geometries, one engineering discipline. The product's shear tolerance, flow behaviour and drying duty pick the machine — we build them all, so the recommendation follows your material, and every quotation carries trial-measured numbers.

Find Your Geometry

Three answers narrow eleven geometries to the two worth trialling. No form, no email — just engineering.

01 · Powder

Vacuum Powder Mixers & Dryers

PRBD · PVRD
Vacuum ribbon mixer dryer annotated schematic — PRBD series

Vacuum Ribbon Mixers & Dryers

Counter-current double helix — the flagship blend-and-dry geometry with the highest heat-transfer area per litre and full published spec tables, 5 to 30,000 L.

PPD Series
Vacuum paddle mixer dryer cross-section schematic — heated shaft and paddles in a jacketed vacuum body

Vacuum Paddle Mixers & Dryers

Heated shaft and paddles — up to 90% more drying area. Filter cakes, sludges, battery materials and the sticky phase everything else stalls on.

PDC Series
Double cone vacuum dryer schematic — rotating jacketed vessel with no internal agitator

Vacuum Double Cone Mixers & Dryers

Rotating vessel, zero internals — the pharma reference for zero-shear drying of APIs and crystals with total discharge.

Every geometry, with or without vacuum.

All eleven QuantumX geometries are also built as standard atmospheric mixers — same engineered agitator, jacket and validation, without the vacuum system. Standard ribbon mixers & blenders are documented in full with PRB/PVR spec tables; ask for standard-model specifications of any other geometry. For steady-state duties, Continuous Mixers & Dryers run to 60 t/h.

Not Sure Which Geometry? That's the Point of the Trial.

Send the material, the solvent and the target endpoint. We'll run it on candidate geometries and show you the drying curves side by side.
